Polarization and misinformation sometimes give the impression that we no longer know how to talk to one another. Yet democracy also depends on our ability to listen and find common ground. Over a meal, citizens who don’t know one another take on the challenge of engaging in dialogue despite certain disagreements. We see how teenagers counter misinformation and how games allow people to come together, exchange ideas, and rediscover the joy of being together.
