Nadia and Sylvain are having fun breaking down plastic… not plastic itself… because that would take way too long. No, they’re going to break down the concept of plastic: its origins, its chemical composition, and the challenges associated with plastic waste. To do this, Nadia and Sylvain will bake little doughnuts that they’ll string together to represent polymer molecules. They’ll also make doughnuts in various shapes to talk about the plastic debris in the ocean, or the challenges associated with recycling this “miracle product” that has become an environmental nightmare… not the doughnuts… the plastic.
