Nadia and Caro are baking sugar cookies... and it's funny because there isn't actually that much sugar in the recipe... “Is that because the sugar lobby hasn’t gotten involved yet?” “The what!?” We then learn what lobbying is and how interest groups can influence governments... Which can lead to regulations that aren’t strict enough, like those for sugar in processed foods we buy at the store. We gradually replace all the flour in the recipe with sugar! The result is far from healthy… or even appetizing! When it comes to lobbying, we need balance, clear regulations… and a good sugar cookie recipe.
