After a defeat, MJ challenges the girls to pull themselves together for the playoffs. Alizée and Margot notice MJ flirting with Nadie's father, Patrick. Nadie is discouraged by the pressure of choosing a university program. A meeting with the guidance counselor makes her anxious, causing a clash with her father, who forces her to apply to university if she wants to continue playing on the hockey team. Margot is overwhelmed by her responsibilities, especially hockey and her portfolio. She has to tell Vanessa that she is withdrawing from the prom committee. She is in the process of applying to a prestigious fashion design school in Paris, but doubts that her dream can come true. Alizée is very ambitious and aims to be recruited by her favorite university hockey team to eventually reach the professional women's league. Vanessa, the assistant coach at MJ, commits to organizing the prom, but has to lie to Ms. Sylvie, pretending that she has a committee to help her. Impressed, Ms. Sylvie asks her to give the graduation speech, an offer that Vanessa proudly accepts.
